Kasey Huebner is a shareholder with Mills Meyers Swartling who has represented clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout Washington. Kasey works on a variety of litigation matters, but focuses her practice on employment law, tort and product liability, and litigation related to fiduciaries, trusts and estates. She has successfully represented national corporations, local businesses, government entities, and individuals in numerous complex cases. When she is not practicing law, Kasey enjoys running, hiking, cooking and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.

  • MULLINS v. SOUND TRANSIT
    Achieved summary judgment on behalf of defendant jobsite owner in case involving on-the-job injuries to a contractor’s employee.

  • BRECHT v. HAGUE, et al.
    Achieved a defense verdict at a jury trial addressing alleged defamation by an elected official.
  • EHSANI v. McCULLOUGH FAMILY PARTNERSHIP
    Drafted amicus brief in support of petition for review to the Washington Supreme Court in case involving ethical issues related to attorney control over client funds under the Rules of Professional Conduct.

  • PRUDHOMME v. JEFFERSON COUNTY
    Achieved summary judgment dismissal on behalf of defendant in employment lawsuit and successfully defended summary judgment on appeal.

  • BARVILLE v. HAWAIIAN AIRLINES
    Achieved summary judgment in favor of defendant airline.
  • BLOOM v. FORD MOTOR COMPANY
    Successfully briefed opposition to plaintiff’s attempt to overturn jury verdict in favor of defendant.
  • BERSOS v. FORD MOTOR COMPANY
    Briefed winning motion for summary judgment, which achieved dismissal of claims against defendant based on spoliation of evidence and lack of evidentiary support for product liability claims. Also briefed winning opposition to co-defendant’s attempt to appeal the trial court’s summary judgment decision.
