Caryn Geraghty Jorgensen joined Mills Meyers Swartling in 1997 and became a shareholder in January 2003. Prior to joining Mills Meyers Swartling, Caryn practiced at a mid-sized litigation firm in Chicago. Caryn is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame School of Law and a cum laude graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. At Notre Dame, Caryn served as the Assistant Executive Editor of the Journal of College and University Law. Caryn's practice emphasizes tort and commercial litigation, including product liability, aviation, municipal law, insurance coverage, class action defense, employment, and adoption matters. She has successfully represented individuals, businesses, insurance companies, governmental entities, and non-profit clients in jury trials, motion practice, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings in state and federal courts throughout Washington state. In addition, she has given presentations at Continuing Legal Education seminars on aviation and product liability topics.
