Scott Ellerby has practiced law since 1986 and has been a shareholder of MMS since 1994. Scott concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and real estate transactions and litigation, creditor-debtor law, banking law, tort litigation and municipal law. He represents individuals, corporations, financial institutions, and public entities in state and federal trial courts, appellate courts, administrative agencies, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Scott is a summa cum laude graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and received his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1986. He has been active in the Washington State Bar Association Public Procurement and Private Construction Law Section and Creditor/Debtor Section, and the King County Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, serving as chairman. Scott sits on the boards of several charitable and non-profit organizations. He has served on the Legislation and Rules of Professional Conduct Committees of the Washington State Bar Association. Scott has also served as an arbitrator in numerous cases and as a hearing examiner in Washington State Bar Association disciplinary matters.
