Bill Bailey is Of Counsel to the firm and available for consultation. Bill is a former shareholder of the firm and practiced law in Seattle from 1973 to 2008. His practice focused on civil litigation, including employment, tort, product liability, attorney and architect-engineer errors and omissions, and life and general insurance law. Bill is a 1973 graduate of Wayne State University Law School where he was a member of the Wayne Law Review. He is also a 1967 graduate of the Divinity School of Yale University. He was a senior partner in a large regional firm for 22 years where he served terms on the Executive and Management Committees. From 1973 to 1975, he was Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Office of the King County Prosecuting Attorney. Bill is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an Associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates, former chairperson of the Litigation Section of the Washington State Bar Association, and has served on numerous Bar Committees including the Washington State Bar Association Judicial Recommendation Committee. Bill was the Washington State Chairperson of the American College of Trial Lawyers, 2003-2005. He has lectured in numerous Continuing Legal Education programs. Bill was honored as the American Board of Trial Advocates’ Washington trial lawyer of the year 2000.
